This restaurant was very busy on a Friday night but the service and food was excellent. Our server, Megan, took very good care of us and checked on us often. The salads and main course came out very fast and we were in and out in a little over an hour. That is incredible for a Friday night. The restaurant was clean and we were seated in about 10 minutes. The food was hot and delicious with a wide range of choices on the menu. I included some photos but forgot to take them until after we started eating. The prime rib was cooked perfectly with really good au jus on the side. The cheese grits were also very good but they do charge 2 more for them (not sure why). The house salad was very fresh with the hot bacon and honey mustard house dressing that tastes like California Dreaming (they have other dressing choices). The salads come with hot croissants covered in a honey drizzle. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food and the quality of the food and service. The restaurant is easy to access off of Clemson Road right at Interstate 20. Parking was fine for us but I can see where it could get crowded with other businesses around. The server collects payment at the table, which is convenient. We would recommend Megan as your server if you are able to request her. She did a great job. Update: Ate there again Nov 2024 and was even better! Added more photos. Most try!
Food, Service & Atmosphere was Awesome! My husband and I had an evening to ourselves so we decided to visit J.R. Cash's Grill and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed my blackened salmon while my husband enjoyed his fried flounder. The food was seasoned perfectly and our lovely waitress was so attentive and kind. Overall, great night out. Keep up the great work!
The food served here has always been delicious , I haven’t had a bad dish yet! The Pineapple Dream Martini and Hot Lava Shrimp are my two favorite items. I tried the Hot Lava Shrimp for the first time and I see why that have the option to have it as an appetizer or meal it’s just that good! The shrimp had a light crunch to it, the sauce it’s tossed in is a little hotter than mild. The Pineapple Dream Martini had a smooth tropical taste, I loved the foam on top.
My wife and I love dining here. The food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly and welcoming. I usually get the tenders but today I went with the Riley and it didn't disappoint. Also love the honey butter croissants.
Visited for my birthday lunch this afternoon and it was SOO good! Service was amazing! Staff was kind and got us seated quickly. The waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. We started things off with an appetizer and ordered the Smothered Potato Skins and they were AMAZING! You get 4 big skins smothered in cheese and bacon, with a sour cream and chives dip. We ordered three entrees: Cash's Chicken (bbq chicken breast smothered in cheese with ham and bacon), loaded mashed potatoes and collard greens; the Fried Flounder Platter (3 big pieces) with sweet potato fries and a house salad (with a honey butter croissant); and a House burger with fries. Every dish was SOOO GOOD! Collards were NOT sweet, but seasoned and cooked well. My fish was PERFECT! Crunchy breading, soft and flaky on the inside. That salad and croissant: PERFECTION! Sweet potato fries could have been a bit crispier, but they were still good! My son's burger and fries were excellent! We will DEFINITELY be back!
First time visiting restaurant. We enjoyed the atmosphere with nice seating area separated from the bar area. Bar area was nice as well. Food was fantastic. We got the croissants as an appetizer. They did not disappoint. My wife got the soup/salad meal with potato soup. I got the chicken tender meal. The salad I got had the house dressing. I highly recommend this dressing! Thanks to my waitress Genea for the recommendation and the great service!
The prime rib sandwich is my favorite, bread toasted just right and the prime rib was seasoned just right. Everyone else ordered the cash burger, bbq taste was just the right flavor, the buffalo chicken wrap was flavorful, and the tenders were battered just right. The hot lava shrimp was jumbo shrimp and the flavor wasn’t overbearing, it was just right. By far one of my favorite places.
Group of college friends (5) gathered with wives to talk and reminisce.They have a great hamburger and everything on menu is good. The place was clean and well lighted. No problems with the large group, wait staff was professional and friendly. We will be back again
